It is important to feel comfortable with your counsellor, so an initial assessment session is very important. It is an opportunity for me to get a grasp of what is going on for you, so there will be questions I need to ask, and I am sure you will have questions to ask in return. It is also my aim to convey how I work ethically, how I protect your confidentially and what your data protection rights are.
